Soneva Fushi pioneered barefoot luxury in the Maldives. Set on Kunfunadhoo Island within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, this is where the "No News, No Shoes" philosophy was born — a way of travel that strips away the noise of everyday life and replaces it with the rhythm of the Indian Ocean.

Getting There

Soneva Fushi is located on Kunfunadhoo Island in Baa Atoll, 111km from Velana International Airport. The resort is reached by a scenic 30-minute private seaplane flight, with Soneva's exclusive airport lounge for guests at the terminal. An alternative route: 20-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo followed by a 12-minute speedboat transfer. Guests arriving via Maafaru International Airport can take a 15-minute seaplane connection.
