Six Senses Kanuhura is one of the most beautifully positioned resorts in the Maldives — a generous island in Lhaviyani Atoll with three distinct beaches, 66 villas hidden in lush vegetation, and the Six Senses wellness philosophy applied with genuine depth. It is not the finest resort in the Six Senses Maldives collection — that honour belongs to Laamu — but for guests who want the Six Senses experience in a more accessible northern atoll with superb beaches and a comprehensive kids programme, Kanuhura delivers consistently.
Getting there
Lhaviyani Atoll — 35-minute seaplane from Velana International Airport. Daylight arrivals only. The seaplane journey across the northern atolls is one of the more scenic in the Maldives, with excellent aerial views of the reef systems below.
The island
